Installation
The managing authority of the Port of Nador, the ‘Office de Développement et d’Exploitation des Ports’ (ODEP), faced with a tremendous increase in ferry passenger traffic since 1998, decided to invest in a new terminal for this Mediterranean port in the North of Morocco. The objective was to create a safe and convenient facility that could easily deal with the boarding of passengers from two ferry vessels at the same time. ADELTE was asked to provide within 5 months two identical passenger boarding bridges to cover each side of the terminal. The bridges also had to be moveable in order to facilitate the diverse vessels of the Ferry operators with routes to Alicante and Almeria in Spain and Sète in France.
