ADELTE will manufacture and deliver 12 additional Passenger Boarding Bridges in Baghdad

Barcelona, 20th September 2014 – The Iraq Civil Aviation Authority (ICAA) has awarded ADELTE two new contracts for the supply of twelve additional PBBs operating at the Samerra and Babylon terminals of Baghdad International Airport.

All units are hydraulic Apron Drive models with two glass-sided sections and will be supplied along with twelve walkways and twenty-four rooftops, also designed and manufactured by ADELTE. These new contracts will make a total of eighteen new ADELTE Passenger Boarding Bridges in operation at the first Iraqi airport, significantly improving docking, passenger embarkation and disembarkation and maintenance operations.

ADELTE to supply two new Seaport Passenger Boarding Bridges in Hamburg

Barcelona, the 17th of September 2014 – Cruise Gate Hamburg Terminaleigentumsgesellschaft (CGH), a subsidiary of Hamburg Port Authority (HPA), is currently building in cooperation with Hamburg Airport a new cruise terminal “Cruise Center Steinwerder” and has contracted ADELTE to design, manufacture and install two state-of-the-art HYDRA-model Seaport Passenger Boarding Bridges (SPBBs).

The new Cruise Center, arising in the city district Steinwerder, right in the heart of the Port, will be able to accommodate new generation cruise vessels as of June 2015.

ADELTE wins Seaport Passenger Boarding Bridge project in Portugal

Barcelona, 19th of June 2014 – The port of Leixões, beside the city of Porto, wants to boost its cruise passenger activity and is currently building some spectacular infrastructures which include a new terminal, a 340-metre dock, and a marina.

The Administracao dos Portos do Douro e Leixoes (APDL), the port authority for the port of Leixões, will offer cruise passengers first-rate services with the construction of a new, ultra-modern building in the shape of a boat hull, and has contracted ADELTE to handle the design, manufacture and installation of an innovative, HYDRA-model boarding bridge (SPPB).

Hi-tech boarding bridges for futurist passenger terminal in Zagreb

Barcelona, 4th June 2014 – The international company Bouygues and ADP Management have commissioned ADELTE for the supply of eight passenger boarding bridges which will operate at the new terminal currently under construction at the Croatian capital’s airport.

The Passenger Boarding Bridges designed and manufactured by ADELTE are a key part of the ongoing works to update the airport’s facilities.

These new-generation electromechanical Apron Drive models with two steel-sided sections will be able to service class C aircraft and, on one position, will also dock class D and E commercial planes. All PBBs are equipped with the most advanced docking technology and include 400Hz Ground Power Units in order to provide efficient, safe and sustainable turnarounds.

ADELTE wins eight contracts for the delivery of Seaport Passenger Boarding Bridges at Cruise and Ferry Terminals in Europe and Asia

Barcelona, 10th March 2014 – ADELTE, the world leading designer and manufacturer of sophisticated Seaport Passenger Boarding Bridges (SPBBs) for cruise and ferry terminals has recently won eight contracts for the supply in 2014 of a total of eleven tailor-made SPBBs to the ports of Rotterdam, Stornoway, Swinoujscie and Ullapool in Northern Europe, Denia and Savona in Southern Europe and Busan and Singapore in Asia.
