ADELTE´s new Passenger Boarding Bridges operating at Cruise Center Steinwerder in Hamburg

Barcelona, 16th of July – ADELTE, the leading provider of Seaport Passenger Boarding Bridges (SPBBs) and global services to cruise and ferry terminals, completed the installation of two innovative SPBBs in May at Cruise Center Steinwerder, well before the official inauguration of the new cruise facility on June 9th. After just 198 days of construction, Hamburg’s third cruise terminal is now fully operative.

The new terminal is comprised of two separate arrival and departure buildings, both connected to ADELTE’s state-of-the-art HYDRA-model SPBBs which guarantee fast and flexible boarding operations. Designed to accommodate large modern cruise ships, the two custom-designed boarding bridges are equipped with an innovative and patented feature developed by ADELTE’s R&D engineering department especially for the Steinwerder Terminal.

ADELTE secures a major contract for the supply of Passenger Boarding Bridges and Ground Support Equipment in Pakistan

Barcelona, 25 of May 2015 – ADELTE recently signed a contract with the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) to improve boarding operations at Jinnah International Airport, Pakistan’s largest international and domestic airport, ,next to the city of Karachi.

The contract includes the dismantling & disposal of the 12 old PBBs and the design, manufacture and installation of 18 new electromechanical glass-sided Apron Drive models, along with 12 walkways and 30 rooftops also designed and manufactured by ADELTE.

To complete this gate solution, ADELTE will also deliver 12 innovative PCAs ZEPHIR (45T and 90T) of its GSE range.

ADELTE delivers a new Seaport Passenger Boarding Bridge to Creuers in Barcelona

Barcelona, 7th May 2015 – Creuers del Port de Barcelona took delivery of the sophisticated Seaport Passenger Boarding Bridge (SPBB) designed, manufactured and installed by ADELTE and operating at the cruise terminals on the Adosado Quay in the Port of Barcelona.

Royal Caribbean’s latest Oasis class vessel, the Allure of the Seas, does homeport in Barcelona from May to October and cruises on the Mediterranean sea, calling at Palma de Mallorca, Marseilles, La Spezia, Civitavecchia and Naples. ADELTE’s new system, an HYDRA model Seaport Passenger Boarding Bridge, was installed in time to welcome the world’s biggest cruise ship and offer its 6,300+ guests an efficient, safe and comfortable boarding, including to those with reduced mobility.

ADELTE to deliver 62 new Pre-Conditioned Air units (PCAs) in South Korea and Spain

Barcelona, 20th March 2015 – ADELTE recently secured two contracts for the design, manufacture and delivery of a total of 62 innovative Pre-Conditioned Air units: 42 will be installed at Incheon International Airport and 20 more at Palma de Mallorca Airport.

After the launch in 2014 of a new version of the ZEPHIR Pre-Conditioned Air Series (PCA), improving heating and cooling performance for a wide variety of stationed aircraft in all climatic conditions, ADELTE kicks off 2015 by introducing a complementary line of PCAs featuring a cutting-edge full Inverter technology, engineered to deliver optimum airflow with an increased efficiency of up to 35% while consuming the minimum energy.

Advanced Passenger Boarding Bridge technology in the Indian ocean

Barcelona, 27th February 2015 – ADELTE has accomplished the installation of two Apron Drive passenger boarding bridges contracted by La Réunion’s Roland Garros Airport to provide commercial aircrafts, including the A380, and their passengers the best docking and boarding service.

After supplying the electromechanical and glass-sided Passenger Boarding Bridges equipped with ADELTE’s new A/C Rooftops and hurricane tie-down systems, ADELTE has won a new contract for the upgrade and refurbishment of the existing other six PBBs. All electrical components, PLC, control console, flooring and glass panels will be changed, six A/C Rooftops will be installed and the Passenger Boarding Bridges will receive a specific anti-corrosion processing and high quality painting.
