Brooklyn Cruise Terminal receives various awards

Barcelona, March 12th 2007 – ADELTE, a world leading designer and manufacturer of passenger boarding bridges for the cruise and ferry industries has recently been informed that the new cruise terminal at Red Hook in Brooklyn, New York has received three prestigious cruise awards.

The Brooklyn Cruise Terminal enjoyed a successful first year in operation, including sold-out cruises and strong interest for 2007 bookings. But that is not all; the cruise terminal has also won several prestigious awards: the “Best New Homeport” by PortHole Magazine, the “Cruise Terminal of the Year” by Princess Cruise Lines, and the “Best U.S. Homeport” by TravelAge West Magazine.

ADELTE selected by the Port Authority of Melilla to provide two Passenger Boarding Bridges

Barcelona, 3rd January 2007 – ADELTE a world leading designer and manufacturer of passenger boarding bridges for the Cruise and Ferry industries, headquartered in Barcelona, Spain, has recently been awarded a contract by the Port Authority of Melilla to design and manufacture two passenger boarding bridges of the HYDRA range for its passenger terminal ‘Estacion Maritima’ currently in construction. ADELTE will deliver these bridges in April 2007, just in time for the cruise season and an expected increase of ferry operations.
