This is the first time cruise guests of the Norwegian Epic are able to board and disembark through the convenient shell doors on deck 6, located between the overhanging lifeboats of this new generation cruise liner.
Barcelona-based ADELTE won in February 2009 a contract with the Port of Miami to design, manufacture and deliver two PBBs and an elevated walkway for the refurbished B & C cruise terminals in the Port of Miami. These terminals are dedicated to the ships of Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) and the PBBs needed to be especially designed to service the current fleet but also the Norwegian Epic, the newest mega vessel of NCL which is as of today home-ported in the Port of Miami, the Cruise Capitol of the World.
