Barcelona, 5th February 2009 – ADELTE’s Global Services has been awarded a five-year contract by AENA to supply, manage and maintain luggage carts at Barcelona Airport.
This service contract enables Barcelona Airport with the necessary means to ensure continuous availability for passengers of a sufficient quantity of luggage carts in the deposit racks, avoiding a loose distribution throughout the airport facilities and possible loss.
Included in the contract are the installation, maintenance and operation of a management information system, which allows the operator to know accurately and in real time the number of luggage carts available in the deposit racks. The software includes an anti-theft system with the aim of significantly reducing the loss of the carts.
